A Decision

If you know our family very well, it probably comes as no surprise that we’re very fond of Colorado.  You may even be aware that we’ve been considering moving our family there. We haven’t really hidden the fact that we’ve been dreaming of the possibility.  With Josh having his own business and working completely out of our home, along with us homeschooling the kids, we’re prime candidates for being able to relocate to wherever we want. So, for the last four months, we’ve entertained the idea very seriously. At one point we thought we had made the decision to go. We thought that after praying about it and finally making a firm decision that we’d have complete confidence and would be at peace with our choice, but as it turns out, we began having doubts that this is the right time for us to move. Our newest idea is to spend as much time as we can in Colorado (especially during the miserable months of summer in Texas) and hopefully even buy a small place there where we could come and go as we please and that we could offer to friends and family who might want to go visit too. I have my suspicions that we’ll end up living there as permanent residents some day, but for now it looks like we’re going to continue to enjoy our family, friends, and familiar things we love (such as Mexican food…it’s no good up in Colorado) here in Texas and just be frequent visitors of our beloved Colorado.

  1. Thank you for sharing this. I have been praying about your decision as I gathered from Facebook that you were considering the move. Glad God has given your guidance and peace about your decision. Love you and your family. Aunt Jackie

  2. Thank you, Aunt Jackie. Not an easy decision, as there were things pulling us in each direction, but the right direction became pretty clear to us. We’re glad to have some peace about it now too.
