Fort Worth Zoo Homeschool Day

While Caroline and I were doing the Five in a Row Book, The Story About Ping, and studying China, She and I were also reading the Little Pear books together at night for some additional insight in
to the Chinese culture. These adorable books have become some of my favorite read-alouds. We just recently finished the second book, and after hearing so much about Little Pear’s favorite treat, tang-hulurs, which he would buy from the street vendors, I wanted to either find a place to buy them or a recipe to make them. I ended up finding a recipe for candied berries on a stick, which is essentially what tang-hulurs are, so we were able to make them.
